This Ultrasonic Sensor with a Logic Level Converter for Raspberry Pi is a comprehensive solution for implementing distance sensing in your projects. The HY-SRF05 is an ultrasonic sensor known for its accuracy and reliability in measuring distances, widely used in robotics, automation, and various interactive projects.
Paired with the DSS138 Logic Level Converter, this setup ensures smooth and reliable data communication between devices operating at different voltage levels. Whether you're interfacing the HY-SRF05 with a 5V microcontroller or a 3.3V Raspberry Pi, the DSS138 seamlessly handles voltage level conversion, protecting your components and ensuring accurate distance readings.
Features
- A small PCB which safely allows you to interface devices which step down 5V signals to 3.3V signals and step up 3.3V signals to 5V
- 2, 4 & 8 inputs and outputs and can be used with i2c, SPI, UART, etc.
- The board needs to be powered via two sources, 5V and 3.3V and your data lines are linked via pins 1 to 8 on each side so input on pin 1 will be converted to the lower or higher output on the adjoining pin 1 this is repeated for pins 2 to 8
